Square One formatting steps

The Square One should take the shape of a cube.

Step 1

Star formation

You will first need to form a 6-pointed star for one of the outer layers:

There is no algorithm for this phase.

Step 2

Introduction

Cube formation

For the resolution of Square One, it is necessary that it first take the shape of a cube,

However, the 2nd layer may not be completely formed, this will be done at the very last step after solving the 1st and 3rd layers.

You must first return the Square One, you will then have to apply one of the 5 algorithms below.

Cases 1a and 2a: cases where it is necessary to exchange the layers.
Case 1b: case where the 2nd layer will be formed after application of the algorithm.
Case 2b: case where the 2nd layer will not be formed after application of the algorithm.

Step 2

Algorithm 1

If it looks like this:

Case 1a

You can then move on to case 1b.

Case 1b

Case 2a

You can then move on to case 2b.

Case 2b

Step 2

Algorithm 2

If it looks like this:

Case 1a

You can then move on to case 1b.

Case 1b

Case 2a

You can then move on to case 2b.

Case 2b

Step 2

Algorithm 3

If it looks like this:

Case 1a

You can then move on to case 1b.

Case 1b

Case 2a

You can then move on to case 2b.

Case 2b

Step 2

Algorithm 4

If it looks like this:

Case 1a

You can then move on to case 1b.

Case 1b

Case 2a

You can then move on to case 2b.

Case 2b

Step 2

Algorithm 5

If it looks like this:

Case 1a

You can then move on to case 1b.

Case 1b

Case 2a

You can then move on to case 2b.

Case 2b

Step 2

Final form

Your cube will then look like one of the following two cases:

Your Square One is trained.
