The steps of the Megaminx 2x2

The Megaminx 2x2 is solved layer by layer, and the algorithms are derived from those of the 2x2x2.

Step 1

The first layers

When all the layers are solved, your cube will look like this:

No particular algorithm.

The placement of the pieces should remain intuitive.

Here are the main steps:

The first layer

The second layer

The third layer

Step 2

The edges of the last layer

This step does not exist for 2x2 Megaminx

Step 3

The corners of the last layer

Once the corners have been processed, your cube will look like this:

Positioning the corners

The algorithm will swap the 3 left corners clockwise.

Depending on your setup, you should apply the algorithm a maximum of 3 or 4 times!

The orientation of the corners can vary. What matters is the placement.

(The 3 colors of each corner must correspond to the 3 theoretical faces of the corner)

Orienting the corners

The algorithm will allow you to orient the 2 right corners upwards.

Depending on your setup, you should apply the algorithm a maximum of 3 or 4 times!

Remember to orient your cube correctly to avoid performing the algorithm more than necessary, i.e., not necessarily with the 3rd layer at the top.

Your 2x2 Megaminx is solved.
