Face Colors:

The colors shown in the diagrams are identical to those of the original 3x3x2 cylindrical.

The gray color indicates that the color present in that location is irrelevant to the exercise. This makes it much easier to understand.

They are noted in English because that is the international convention.

This is a 90° rotation when viewed from the layer in question.
