The steps of the 2x2x2 mirror

The 2x2x2 mirror will be solved layer by layer.

Step 1

The 1st layer

When the layer is fully solved, your cube will look like this:

No particular algorithm.

The placement of the pieces should remain intuitive.

Steps 2 & 3

The edges

These steps do not exist for the 2x2x2 mirror

Step 4

The corners of the 2nd layer

Once all the corners have been processed, your cube will look like this:

Place the corners

The algorithm will swap the corners (except the one in front of you on the right) clockwise.

Depending on your setup, you should apply the algorithm a maximum of 2 times!

The orientation of the corners can vary. What matters is their placement.

(The 3 colors of each corner must correspond to the 3 theoretical faces of the corner)

Orient the corners

The algorithm will allow you to orient the 2 corners on your right upwards.

Depending on your setup, you should apply the algorithm a maximum of 2 times!

Remember to orient your cube correctly to avoid performing the algorithm more than necessary, i.e., not necessarily with the second layer on top.

Your 2x2x2 mirror is solved.
